Utility Provider

Call your electricity provider and ask what they can offer you to reduce your monthly charge.

Many areas here in California have options that, according to your lifestyle, could save you money without any inconvenience to yourself. We chose a Time of Use Plan they offer and it has saved us considerably.

Obvious Solution

Be sure to turn off all lights when not using them. It adds up, and it’s good for the environment!
Use more energy efficient bulbs.
Unplug things like the TV when not in use.

I love Ohm Connect! We’ve been usuing it since it first rolled out and we earn about $40/month- which we are saving for our next family vacation!

When we lived there we had a solar panel on our water tank! It meant we only showered in the afternoons but the beach was 5 mins away and nobody cared. Also unplugged stuff we didn’t use all the time helped immensely (still do this and it drives my husband crazy). Also the phrase “if it’s yellow let it mellow, if it’s brown flush it down” lol. Throwing tissue paper in a separate bag and not down the sewer was a good saver too!
